The company behind the name.
Whispering Dragons Technologies is a Phoenix-based technology company specializing in high-performance computing and software packaging managed services. We specialize in rapid website development for small and mid-sized businesses with mission-critical computer needs to maintain 24/7 system uptime.
Whispering Dragons found its footing by securing a major client over a single long weekend. It was New Year's, and the client had gone completely offline nationwide. Jacob, Daniel, and a third partner at the time spent three days working around the clock, running on little sleep, getting them back up and running by the first of the year. Without that work, the client would have closed their doors for good.
That weekend showed the team what they were capable of. A few months later, Jacob and Daniel founded Whispering Dragons to offer that same reliability, the kind of service that shows up at 2am on New Year's Eve, to every business they work with.

Jacob Lanthier, M.B.A.
Jacob brings an entrepreneur's mindset to IT, shaped by launching three companies across video game development and managed services. His M.B.A. from Florida Institute of Technology (with a focus in Project Management) gives Whispering Dragons a strategic edge most IT shops don't have.
He understands what it means to run a business on a budget, because he's lived it. That perspective shapes every recommendation he makes to clients.

Daniel Oquendo
Daniel's technical foundation runs deep, from computer systems to Quality Assurance, and increasingly, to the cybersecurity landscape that defines modern IT risk. Florida-raised and now West Valley-based, he leads Whispering Dragons' security practice with a mission-driven mindset.
His goal: to protect and educate businesses on the real risks they face today, not the theoretical ones, but the ones that actually hit small companies today.
